Yesterday we posted photos of soldiers with their cats. Today, we see them with their dogs…
how cute is this!?!? big packets are good for keeping things close and safe!
Are many soldiers able to bring home their puppies, we should help them dodo if they want to.
REAL men love puppies!
my favorite is the last one <3.
I wish all guys were like them… tough….brave but sweet <3.
How nice for the soldiers to have a few cute pups around in such a horrible place to be in.
way to kewl for words. good job guys. The good never stops with people..The unaversel truth says all life is a part of the equation we call the well of souls and the acts of kindness ripple through the web like a wild fire in a drought. Fire up the web , never stop the war on evil. Even if it is just a simple act of saving a puppy.
Omg this is so most adorable thing ever! <3 <3
My grandfather trained dogs in WW2 and he would tell my family how often dogs would save hundreds of soldiers. They could literally smell explosives and even enemy soldiers and warn our troops! That’ s amazing to me. But even more amazing was that a lot of those dogs that were taken to war were PETS! Families volunteered their dogs to fight for our country. And when they eventually passed, they were even given soldiers’ burials. Training those dogs was a gift that my grandfather had.
oh okay good….how are you doing today?..can we be friends if you dont mind….my email is firstname.lastname@example.org……thanks
Soldiers and pets, God bless them all !
yeah i agree with that…how are you doing today?…..can we be friends if you don’t mind……my email is email@example.com…..thanks
Be still my heart…I delayed looking at this collection, as I knew it’d be bittersweet. I wonder if they have a similar program when soldiers come home. The pups–ANY pet–would B perfect for heroes coming back with PTSD.
That just melted my heart. God bless our soldiers.
I can’t help but think of the American soldier who tossed that poor puppy across the rocks and videotaped it. Its screaming was unbearable. Its eyes weren’t even open yet. Its tiny little body being flung, until it finally smashed against the boulders, and his screaming stopped. It’s the most disturbing thing I’ve ever seen. I feel very uncomfortable with these images. I pray to God that none of these dogs were harmed.
That is just so sick, he should be put in jail… I cannot even believe it, does this person not have a heart or soul…. It must have been unbearable to watch it or even hear it…This poor little creature couldn’t even see… I am so sorry that you had to watch that! I will be thinking about this tonight!
Or about horses being slaughtered by a huge saw at their neck corralled into a space that they cannot get out of knowing they are going to die…What kind of a sick society have we become…
The Lord God took this puppy right up to Heaven with him!
I am sure none of these puppies were harm. One act of violence always seems to bring on negative comments when these are good images. It’s sad that there is cruelty. It happens whether they are there, or here. Watch animal cops, it’ll break your heart. I stopped watching because it became too much. Love these images, I don’t get why you’d be uncomfortable with seeing them. Just because a soldier did a horrible crime doesn’t mean every single of one of them will. Also, as I said earlier people are cruel here in the states, they are normal everyday people. Don’t prejudge based on one incident.
From what I understand animals have no soul if you’re a Christian, so I highly doubt that’s the case.
Support Operation Baghdad Pups and help bring the pets of service men and women back to the US. http://www.spcai.org/
And, Courtney Moore! I DO envy you! I think even with all the dogs in the US who are in need, you are a very fortunate person, & the pups! Well, what can I say? They had you to come to! Thank you!
“2″ Who make our freedom…and…our hearts remain free. Thank you both for your loyalty and your love from another of “HIS” creations, Angel. <
Nothing to make these men’s lives more peaceful is my guess! You are ALL the BEST! & I truly hope you are able to bring them home with you! Please!
People who underestimate the power of love the dog has are missing out on the most powerful love on earth. Great pics. Deborah. Thank you.,
@[100000524656389:2048:Mark Francis Sinatra Vinette] You are SOOOO right! about dogs! Mark! thank YOU! for the reply & to encourage these men is such an honor, I hope they know this!
Deborah Ledbetter There is an organization that does help bring their puppies home. I have two of the sweetest puppies from afghanistan sleeping at my feet right now. So amazing!
Also, a few of those pups have gone home with their soldiers. Check out Puppy Rescue Mission on facebook, also Sasha’s Legacy.
Courtney Moore Thank You! I want to see these pups be able to come home with their person! I can only imagine that returning home with their person, could be more calming for these men! Again, THANKS sooo much for this info! I WILL do what I’m able to do! Anything will help as far as donating whatever one is able! Can you imagine if Everyone On FB gave just $1?!! It would bring LOTS of ‘em home! take care!
Courtney Moore Wow are you and they ever lucky!!! You and them are truly, truly blessed… The dogs I think were there to protect the soldiers and give them hope and love from the dogs….

this takes a real man to be a solider and take care of animals that are to helpless to take care of themselves.
Awww <3.. reminds me of some of the pictures my hubby sent me when he was in Iraq of a puppy he found. But they wouldn't allow him to bring her home
That’s gay they should say that they can’t bring them home if they can bring other things home to their familys like clothing or something well then they should be allowed to bring an animals home their are some things that are wrong about our military if a person is willing to fight and die for their country then their are a few things that the military should not be allowed to judge or say that they can and can not do like tattoos for instants that’s what I think and how I feel
I want to be a soldier so bad because I know for a fact that I would be a great/awsome asset to our military . But also at the same time I don’t have respect for how man/higher up/ government ECT TREAT OUR MEN AND WOMEN/ TROOPS ECT
Monique Seitz If it is what you want to do then go for it. We need people in the military who aren’t just in it for a pay check, but that have pride in their country and want to do something to try and change the world. If you do decide to go in thank you in advance I agree that our government could treat our troops a lot better than what they do. But my hubby keeps telling me he doesn’t care so long as he gets to d what he loves.
Alicia Denelsbeck Thank you I hear that the cut off is 30s and I am turning 27 and I would have to strangthen up my arm cause of a bike axident sorry I suck at spelling. And some other personal reasons that I don’t want to say over her that people can see.
Monique Seitz Yeah the cut off is like 32 to 35 I think. I’m sorry to hear about your accident. I hope your okay and can get everything straitened out.
Alicia are you and your husben still in the military????
Monique Seitz My husband is still in. He’s a CPL in the ARNG.
Alicia Denelsbeck What is CPL and ARNG?? Do you know how I can be a pen pall to a Soldier?????
Monique Seitz Corpal is his rank, and ARNG is Army National Guard. He said you would have to have a soldier’s name and address to write to them, or get a hold of your USO or local armory and find out who doesn’t have family to write to them and let them know you want to become a pen pal for them and to be able to send care packages or something. Here is my personal email addy… email me any time .. email@example.com
Every time I hear something about our soldiers I get goose bumps I am so meant to be a soldier
Monique Seitz I just wouldn’t start to many comments/opinions with the expression ” thats gay”..remember gays are now allowed in the military and some may take offence including this very heterosexual married american mother of two!!
Compassion. Everyonel needs a friend in that God foresaken country. May God watch over them all.
Little did they ever think they would have a companion from animals from God, in a war torn environment like Afghanistan! The Lord works in mysterious ways! The soldiers and the dogs needed comfort for each other.
Cathy McKay While I dont agree with the american way of bringing god into everything, I agree wit hthe sentiment.
Why not bring God into everything; God MADE everything!!
pups and dogs to help keep them troops safer and their morale up a bit….
I totally agree with you!
I agree, definitely a moral booster for the troops. It’s good for our morale too to see pictures of these pups with our troops.
these guys are the true heros!
and they do good job just to keep the world peace….may God bless them all…….how are you doing mom…can we be friends if you don’t mind….my email is firstname.lastname@example.org…thanks
yeah dear…how are you doing?…can we be friends if you don’t mind…..my email is email@example.com…Thanks
