This is cute but they are not real. I understand some people getting upset over it ? I mean i once saw a girl used this photo as a reference for actual barn owls, trying to prove points on real animals using a toy picture.. someone pointed out it was a fake.. and yeah she kinda make a fool of herself. So yeah, lets teach kids how to tell apart toys from real animals. If you see someone go all ” aww i didnt know real owls could be this cute” point out its actually a toy.
Awwww, it’s fake?! I don’t care cuz it’s still the cutest photo
They are very cute. No one said they were live owls. Very nice stuffies posed as though real. I like it.
I WANT OWLET NOW DADDY I WANT IT NOW//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////.
These are two stuffed toys from the movie, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’hoole. A great movie but a very fake picture. Cute but very fake.
Buzz Killington, ladies and gentlemen
The caption doesn’t say they are real. It just says “Owl and Owlet”.
What company makes these stuffed toys??
But what’s even worse, is that that gorilla’s behind is back on this page! Gorilla’s reunion-enough with that picture already.Well, almost worse than 2 stuffed owls.
Get over yourself, terriblycute.com! This picture is fake and it has made me very, very disappointed. Lookit them feet! They’re not positioned naturally on the wooden post; they don’t curve around it for grip. And baby barn owls don’t look all puffy and insanely cute like that! They look like this: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_GnNxCYLJhqI/TFHtsofh5jI/AAAAAAAAABk/XslNPxQdDNc/s1600/owl+babies.jpg (((((((
You tell ‘em!
I am so angry at them right now! I saw this picture and was fooled for a few minutes. I even showed Mom! We were both fooled, even though we both know baby owls don’t look like anything like that! And then… I SAW THE FEET. >:o
Most of the anger comes from being comes from being tricked and seduced by this impossibly adorable photo and then undergoing the sheer disappointment of discovering that it’s all a sham. (
It’s really not worth getting upset over. There are worse things in the world.
Thing is, I think these are needle-felted, I don’t think the artist who made them meant to trick anyone, but this website has taken their photo without crediting them. This sort of craft is really difficult and they deserve credit, it’s not fair that this picture has been making the rounds without any sort of link to the artist who worked hard to make it!
Definitely not worth getting upset over. It’s not like they did it intentionally. The person who posted it probably made a mistake.
Oh lordy, I was getting this upset over it for comedic effect! Maybe I didn’t exaggerate my disappointment to the point of absurdity quite enough.
That’s why it’s “terribly cute,” not “totally REAL.”
how about those tail feathers?
agreed, this!^ but it is still pretty nice felt/needlework
Oh so beautiful, I wish I have one!
