Introducing Nugget [14 Photos]
Hi there, I’m Josh, one of the folks behind Terribly Cute. I wanted to introduce you to Nugget:
About a year ago I visited the local shelter looking to adopt a new cat. I wasn’t working from home as much as I used to, and I wanted a companion for my cat-dog, Hobbes.
Hobbes is an overly-affectionate orange male tabby who was, at that time, 5 years old. Hobbes, who is not the subject of this post (but who has a way of getting into everything) must have been a tub of jello in a previous life. Here he is in one of his many jello-like positions in my office trash can:
Anyway, back to small-headed Nugget. I was told that a kitten may not mix well with an older cat. I took a chance and did it anyway, because… well… KITTENS!
Yes, Nugget annoyed Hobbes at first. But within weeks they were good friends. After a couple months they were best friends and almost never apart.
I hope you like him as much as I do.
