Although it’s far from unusual for one species to protect and care for another, I’m betting that in this case, the kitty was attracted to the nice warm spot left behind when the hen took a break. Many a cat and dog owner has seen them take advantage of our getting out of a nice warm bed too .
You have got to be kidding me, too cute for words.
Oh no…….the hen’s been outsourced!
dang–i thogh it was bad wen my fancy pigeons hatched out a wild turkey egg—an it lved o b retured to the wild..
She looks like my kitty.
I have never seen this before, how sweet that is so cute.
she is waiting for breakfast to hatch
how cute is that kitty on the eggs? I grew up on a farm & had cats foller me in & out of the coop & YES I even have lynx point siamese! 1 of my babies just passed a few weeks ago but still have Daddy & several of his offspring yet 8^}.
When those peeps hatch they may meow instead of cheeping
Maybe she’s a babysitter while the mama hen takes a break.
