The first cat I had after I was married, that my husband got for me, and lovely prominent gold eyes, but his mother had one yellow and one blue eye. I should make it clear–the cat’s mother.

I am really suprised there aren’t any horses… I had one, it was the first time I had ever seen this happen when he was born… I have a pic, but it’s just a profile and you can only see the blue eye…

I have a white cat with one green eye and one blue eye and he is really striking. I find that cats in general have the brightest and most obvious differences in eye colour.

Most cats are deaf in the ear that has a blue eye beside it. My first kitty cat growing up was named Patch Eye cause he had the green/blue combo. He was black and white, and very tolerant. lol

That’s interesting. He isn’t as far as I can tell. He actually seems to have really sensitive hearing.

I’ve head that’s common among blue-eyed cats, that they’re deaf on the side with the blue eye. Now, Siamese cats, they’re different. I was holding one of our Siamese cats–this was when I was coming up, my family bred them then–and my dad turned on a drill OUT IN THE GARAGE. The cat exploded and left a scratch on my arm that the scar stayed for more than 20 years.
